So, today we’ve just decided to buy tickets for 150 Euro for the Rock im Park-Festival in Nuremberg.
The headliners: Muse, Rammstein, Kiss, Rage Against The Machine! I’m looking forward to the gig of Muse and also the gig of The Editors!
Yesterday we were at the Friska Viljor concert in the Forum in Bielefeld. A very nice location in a former factory. The highlight of the evening for me was their song “Goldfish”. The last time they came to Bielefeld, to play a show on the Visions Party, they haven’t played this one.
For today we tried to get two guest list places for the Adam Green concert in Cologne. But unfortunately no proper answer to our mails or phone calls.
Next week Fettes Brot, one of the most important German Hip Hop combos, will play an exclusive gig in Berlin. We have one entry pass with the problem, that our reporter who should go there maybe can’t go there anymore. So I have to find another one and I’m still organizing it.

Bad Oeynhausen has about 50.000 citizens. We have two (!) outdoor swimming pools and only one indoor swimming pool which can be used for sports. Because the building is rotten it should be closed down when the city government won’t invest money for renovation.
120.000 Euro will be the cost of it only for this year. And now, I’ll count something up. We have several of soccer fields in Bad Oeynhausen, we have several of sport gyms. I’m not sure if the maintenance of these are so much cheaper than the maintenance of the only indoor swimming pool.
Instead of upkeeping institutes for people’s work-out, fun and health, the governments really likes to help bankers with millions of Euros who have failed to manage their money correctly.

Yesterday I had a discussion with our future server administrator at Music2Web.de .
I had the idea to test out Drupal and maybe using this instead of the self-made system we are using right now.
For us Drupal has many advantages. I think the best advantage is the easy redesign of the homepage, also the community functions. But at least it will be much work to relaunch Music2Web.de with Drupal and we will lose the control over the whole system.
Maybe I have to test it out myself. Also a big problem will be to migrate all the content of the page and to tell Google the new address.

This night was the Grammy night. Unfortunately I haven’t been there, because no money for a flight, no invitation and/or ticket for it and the swimming across the atlantic was far too long, when the first plans came up last week in the university cantine. Maybe next year I have the time to swim there. 
At least, how I’ve been hoping, the most successful French alternative band Phoenix has won the prize in the category “Best Alternative Music Album”. The music of them is rotating on television as the background music of the O2 Germany Palm Pre advertisement (1901) and such a new romantic comedy movie advertisement (Lisztomania).
With this success they won in a category with bands like Depeche Mode or Death Cab For Cutie.
Their current album “Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix” is also a very good sign for the fact that French music doesn’t have to be boring. If there would be some other releases like this or the previous Phoenix albums from France and not only the Chansons or the Hip Hop acts, we could get friends.
